What is aging?
Aging is a natural process that affects all living organisms and all organs. Have you ever realised that the pace of aging is partially in our hands? It significantly depends on our daily choices, including lifestyle and eating habits. Anti aging food is one of the key factors (together with sport activities and positive mindset) to provide our bodies with all the necessary micro elements and slow down the aging process.
When consuming a poor-quality diet, cells are not provided with the necessary nutrients, disrupting their function. As a result, various body systems cannot function properly. This can be felt as fatigue, irritability, body swelling, digestive disorders, and more.
Inflammation. The superhero of aging.
The body has a unique ability to compensate for various health issues for a long time. Eventually, inflammation occurs. Inflammation is a normal body response to resolve a problem, but over time, it can lead to pathological changes. It is associated with a wide range of diseases, including high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, kidney failure, and cancer.
Due to insufficient nutrients —vitamins, antioxidants, trace elements, proteins—the body’s ability to regenerate is reduced. As we age, our bodies become less effective at regulating inflammation, leading to chronic inflammation and the anti aging food is must have for feeling and looking good. This chronic inflammatory state promotes the development of age-related diseases and the deterioration of various tissues and organs, including the skin, and may also cause neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease
The skin is particularly sensitive to the effects of aging and inflammation. Sun exposure and chronic inflammation can exacerbate skin problems, such as wrinkles, age spots, psoriasis, and eczema.
What does fresh Spirulina have to do with slowing down the aging?
Research has shown that various products contain substances that effectively reduce inflammatory processes. For example, the antioxidant phycocyanin found in spirulina has anti-inflammatory properties, reduces body inflammation, improves skin hydration and elasticity, and protects against UV-induced damage. Since spirulina contains more than 200 biologically active substances, it works comprehensively and can be more effective than individual synthesized compounds.
